Adventure #"603"

Yesterday was what I would call a perfect day! I got to sleep in for once in a really long time, and just played all day! I had been having some issues with my bike so I took it into SBR and got a tune up done on it and got refitted to see if I could get rid of the pain i've been getting in my knees while riding. This quick tune up and fit was only supposed to take an hour or so, but ended up being like a four hour process. I had been having some issues with getting numb in a certain area, that is to remain unmentioned. But it resulted in me buying a new saddle for the bike to make the ride experience more enjoyable. Now I have expensive plans to upgrade my bike, but katie is keeping me from spending all my money, glad she is around.

Last night however was one of the most amazing nights I have had in a REALLY long time! I realized a lot of things and a lot of great things were confirmed to me that make me really really happy. I have been wanting to go with Katie up to Temple Square to walk around and see the lights, and we didn't have anything planned so I decided we would go. While we were driving up there I called my good friend and old mission companion TJ and invited he and his wife Liz to join us. It had been a long time since we had done anything and im really glad it turned out that they were free too. After we picked TJ and Liz up it literally took a good half hour to find a place to park, at the time it was incredibly annoying, but we finally found a spot. We started walking to the square and got the the cross walk and I looked to my right and saw a girl poking her head around some other people and suddenly I was about tackled. It was Alyse! It had been at least nine months since I had last seen her and it was such an awesome surprise to run into her! She def one of my favorite people!

Temple square was soo pretty and being there with Katie was so awesome! She is so great! There is much more that I could say, but I will just keep that to myself for now :) After seeing the lights we went to Gourmandise bakery and got some food and dessert. They have the BEST tiramisu! It was such an incredible night and soo fun!
