Tribute to a fallen Hero and Soldier...

In a way that I can't really describe in words, I had the opportunity to support and honor the Wagstaff family who lost their son, uncle, brother, and husband Matthew Wagstaff. Matt is my brother in laws older brother and was killed in Afghanistan two weeks ago piloting a black hawk helicopter for the Army. The opportunity to show honor and respect for this amazing man was definitely and honor for me to witness and be a part of. The funeral was beautiful, and the gravesite ceremony was more than words can express. I have never experienced anything that showed more respect than the full military honor that took place. A black hawk did a fly over, there was a bagpipe, my grandfather played taps, and the respect for the American flag was amazing and also the respect for the hero the flag covered. I can't express the emotions felt today, but I do know that I have an incredible respect for the men and women who fight for this country. Matt, may you rest in peace and watch over your family.
